Buku Adds RL Grime, Lil B, Claude Von Stroke and More
With only a little more than a month away, Buku Music + Art Project has announced its final additions to the 2015 line up.
RL Grime, Lil B, Claude VonStroke, Hudson Mohawke, BadBadNotGood & Ghostface Killah, XXYYXX, DJ Windows98 (Win Butler of Arcade Fire), Zella Day, Slander, and Sweet Crude have been added to this year's lineup. They'll be joining Bassenectar, A$AP Rocky, DJ Musa, and many more to make over 50 acts performing at Mardis Gras World on March 13-14, 2015. Other artists also added to the event roster include Atlanta-based and Grammy-nominated artist ILoveMakonnen, electro-R&B vocalist Devon Baldwin, and the French/American dance music duo Benoit & Sergio,. Also appearing at BUKU will be the winner of the Buku DJ competition: New Orleans DJ duo SFAM.
Buku also released the lineup by stage, though not by day or time. The VIP-only stage will be on the S.S. BLU-KU riverboat, and those artists performances are still to be announced. The names, times and locations of the "Buku Late" after-hours parties have yet to be announced as well.
