This week's "Freshly Spilt Milk" includes new tunes from KidCadaver, Rusty Hook, Swiss Lips, Champs and more.

1. “Where Are U Now” (Rusty Hook Flip) – Jack U x Justin Bieber: This incredible future bass rework of “Where are U Now” is extremely clean and vibe heavy. Rusty Hook’s style seems to be a fusion of Just a Gent and Manila Killa.

2. “BOOKS” – Swiss Lips: This single from Swiss Lips has a power pop chorus that erupts unexpectedly from syncopated synthesizers and bare percussion. Their self-titled album was released on March 16.

3. “rust” – Stalgia: A muted, melodic track, “rust” is one you want to lean in for. The vocals really shine over subtle bass and ominous percussion.

4. “Vamala” – CHAMPS: “Vamala” is an alternative track from Champs’ second album that toes the line of nostalgia and pop. It’s insanely catchy, and offers an exciting taste of what's to come from this group.

5. “Not a One” – The Young Wild: It’s amazing that this emotional single from The Young Wild has so few listens. I wouldn’t be surprised if this group makes some big moves in 2015.

6. “New Friends” – KidCadaver: “With friends, who needs the weekend?” Pop sensibilities permeate this upbeat song by KidCadaver, which is the first release from their forthcoming EP.

7. “Sirens” – Stranger Cat: This indie/electro-pop track released on Joyful Noise recordings is fueled by erratic drum patterns and expressive vocals. You can catch Stranger Cat at Gasa Gasa March 21.

8. “Grace” (Patrick Wimberly Remix) – Pluto: This sultry track initially exudes Big Brother dystopia but somehow finishes with a much funkier sound. If you dig this track, I recommend looking into Gesaffelstein.
